was born in Damour on June 2, 1959. He was ordained a priest on June 9, 1984, in the Maronite Archdiocese of Beirut. In 2012, he was consecrated bishop and assumed leadership of the Eparchy of Byblos on February 26, 2012. Since then, he has been appointed by the Patriarch and the Council of Bishops to several missions and positions, the latest being as a permanent member of the Permanent Synod alongside Patriarch Béchara Raï.
He gives great importance to his hometown of Damour and follows its affairs on a continuous basis.
