Rose Ghorayeb was a Lebanese writer, editor, and teacher, born in 1909 in Damour and who passed away in 2006 in Lebanon. Her works, which exceed one hundred in number, especially those written for children, are still used in schools throughout the Arab world.
She was actively involved in defending the rule of law in Lebanon, women’s rights, education in general, and in fighting political and social corruption in Lebanon.
